Jason Wisdom was the speaker today.

President Brad opened the meeting, and after prayer and flag salute, Mitch led singing in "Summertime".  Chris Mosley gave a Sergeant at Arms report, and Ann Manchester gave the sunshine report.  The Program Committee brought the program today.  Jason Wisdom of Moore was the speaker.  Jason's family is from Texas and Oklahoma, though he lived in Washington State for a time.  He eventually moved back to Oklahoma, working for Fastnall, and was laid off in 2008.  Within a couple of years he bought two frozen custard businesses in OKC and Moore (2010).  Jason had gained weight and weighed around 280.  He entered a biggest loser competition, which he won, and lost 80 lbs.  His exercise routine included mountain biking, running, and swimming.  In 2013 at the same time he won the biggest loser competition, he contracted West Nile Virus from a mosquito, and spent multiple weeks in ICU, and almost died.  He endured incredible physical incapacitation over the next year, and survived with the permanent loss of the use of his right arm.  Jason had to re-learn to walk and eat.  He credits God for bringing him through the trial and counts the experience as a blessing.
